Questions
What happens in the free trial class?
A live 30-minute class with one of our teachers, so your child can meet them and you can watch how it goes. It runs as a small group, whichever plan you choose afterward. One free trial class per family. Siblings join together.
How many classes a week can we take?
One, two or three. Each class is 30 minutes, and you can change how many you take from the next billing cycle onward.
What does it cost?
A small group class is $15 and a private class is $40, each 30 minutes. You pay for the classes you take, billed every 4 weeks — so the total depends on how many a week you choose.
How does billing work?
You are charged at the start of each 4-week cycle, and it renews until you cancel. We take most major credit cards and some digital wallets. We cannot take PayPal or bank transfers.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your account. Canceling stops the next cycle rather than the one you are in, and we do not issue partial refunds for a cycle already paid for.
Will my child have the same teacher every week?
We aim to keep your child with the same teacher each week. If your teacher is away, we let you know before class.
Do you teach reading and writing?
No. Classes focus on speaking and listening, not reading or writing the script.
What if we need to move a class?
Tap Reschedule in your class reminder up to 3 hours before the class starts, and pick another of your teacher’s open times within 7 days. Each class can be rescheduled once. After that, it can’t be moved or made up.
Can I sit in on the class?
Yes, sit nearby. It helps most if your child does the talking to the teacher directly rather than through you.
How old does my child need to be?
Between 4 and 15. Classes run on Zoom, so all you need is a device with a camera and a quiet corner.
Where do you teach?
Families in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Classes are scheduled around those time zones.
